The Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards have had a very heated regular season series, and they've amped it up in the postseason with a couple of hard fouls and heated exchanges. In Game 1 on Sunday afternoon, Celtics' guard Isaiah Thomas had a tooth knocked out due to an incidental elbow and Wizards' forward Markieff Morris came down with what looked like a bad ankle sprain after Celtics center Al Horford slid under him on a jump-shot.
In today's game alone, Morris approached Horford to ask whether he intentionally injured him in the previous game of the series a few days ago, and that resulted in Morris tossing Horford into the front row.
Late in the second quarter of Game 2, a hard foul was given by Jae Crowder on an Otto Porter layup/dunk attempt, and it resulted in a rough landing for Porter. Initially seen as a normal foul, the referees decided to head to the monitors and review the play for any excessive or malicious contact. Once that was announced in the arena, Celtics' fans began raining boos onto the court in disagreement, and the camera then panned over from the Wizards bench to their General manager Ernie Grunfeld. Grunfeld appeared to respond to those boos by telling the crowd to STFU.

This is only Game 2 of the series, and there's sure to be more exchanges as the series continues.
