Nikola Mirotic was recently involved in a dangerous fight with teammate Bobby Portis, which resulted in two bones being broken in Mirotic’s face. It was just icing on the cake for a toxic organization that had emerged as one of the worst teams in the NBA. But Mirotic's return coupled with his stellar play on the court alongside Portis has sparked the Bulls toward an improbable positive run and record of late.
Now, Mirotic continues to make headlines but this time it’s not for getting into any fights, but for making weird food in his kitchen.
Who is the first to try a Jelly & Mayonnaise sandwich? Yes, you read that right…jelly and mayo 😳

Oddly enough, Mirotic apparently has a craving for jelly and mayonnaise sandwiches. Although his teammates weren't supportive in any way. Paul Zipser commented that the combination did in fact look delicious but that it wasn't an ideal breakfast choice. Robin Lopez and Denzel Valentine were disgusted by Mirotic's dish, and wanted absolutely no part of it.

Maybe Mirotic's penchant for weird food is because of his Montenegrin-Spanish descent, or perhaps it’s just an attempt for the Bulls to improve their team chemistry after a shaky start. Regardless, it’s obvious that none of Mirotic's teammates want to eat his ‘gourmet’ dishes anytime soon. On Friday, the Bulls will take on the Dallas Mavericks. Hopefully, the team will have a wholesome dinner before the game – while simultaneously saying no to the crazy combinations that Mirotic has to offer.
If his teammates do decide to try one of Mirotic's dishes, it may just give them a viable excuse to use in case they lose Friday night.
