It had been just over a week since Chicago Bulls veteran forward Nikola Mirotic made his return to the court.

In his first few games back, Mirotic has displayed some alterations in his game namely the absence of pump faking his shot. In fact, the Bulls big man addressed why he has decided to cut that move out of his game altogether after Friday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic.

It has appeared to help Nikola Mirotic greatly since making his return as he is averaging 20.0 points on 53.8 percent shooting from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc. This includes dropping four double-digit outings with a current streak of three consecutive 20-point outings.

What has been most telling of Mirotic's impact is that the Bulls are riding a 5-0 win streak, which also helped them become the first team in NBA history to win five straight games immediately after losing at least 10 consecutive contests.

Granted, Nikola Mirotic is benefiting from rookie Lauri Markkanen being out of the lineup, but he is certainly finding his offensive groove. Meanwhile, the fact that he has buried the hatchet with Bobby Portis has worked well for the Bulls' chemistry. Portis has been on a strong offensive trend in the last couple of games with two 20-point performances in the last three contests.
With the Bulls finally righting the ship, it will be interesting to see how far they can ride their current upward trend.
