The Boston Celtics managed to take care of business in the first round against the Milwaukee Bucks. They now move on to face off against the upstart Philadelphia 76ers and could be a bit shorthanded to start.

Shooting guard Jaylen Brown suffered a hamstring injury during the second quarter of Game 7 versus the Bucks. According to ESPN's Chris Forsberg, he is still listed as doubtful for the series opener against the Sixers:

Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown is doubtful for Game 1 of Boston's Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night because of a strained right hamstring.

The news certainly deals yet another blow to the Celtics' roster. Boston has already had to navigate through each stage of the season without one of their key players thus far. It began in the regular season with small forward Gordon Hayward and continued with the season-ending injury to point guard Kyrie Irving before the playoffs started. Now Boston will have to get through Game 1 without one of their most important players.

Brown has been an integral part of the Celtics' success all-year long. He has since stepped up his role with the start of the playoffs. Brown is currently averaging 17.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game thus far in the postseason.  It is unfortunate timing for the second-year man out of Cal. Hamstrings injuries are known to linger long after they initially occur and the timetable for recovery is often a tricky one. That said, it would not be far-fetched to assume he misses more than one game.
