Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade has been receiving nonstop praise this season from players and coaches. Many believe Wade is retiring from the NBA too soon and he can play a couple of more seasons in the league.
Wade appreciates the support from his peers, but the future Hall of Famer isn't going to change his mind about calling it quits after this season ends. The best player in Heat franchise history referenced New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski when discussing his retirement.
Gronkowski announced on Sunday he is retiring from the NFL after a legendary career with the Patriots. Like Gronk, Wade knows when it's time to walk away from the game:
Wade said all the outside praise won’t change mind on retiring after season. Says could play two more years, but it is the time to walk away. Cited Gronk knowing when is when.

It's easy to see why players and coaches think Wade can stick around the NBA for two or three more years.
In 63 games this season for the Heat, Wade is averaging 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest while shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 67.2 percent from the free-throw line.
For a 37-year-old who has a ton of mileage on his body, those are pretty good numbers. Wade has scored at least 20 points this season 12 times. Flash scored a season-high 35 points on November 25 against the Toronto Raptors.
