Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade has said that this will be his last season of service in the NBA. In light of this fact, arenas all across the nation have been honoring his legacy as part of his “One Last Dance” tour.

Ahead of his final regular-season game in Miami (vs. Philadelphia on Tuesday night), the Heat and Budweiser have teamed up to create a touching tribute video to portray a few of Wade's fan interactions:

“Flash,” as Wade came to be known, has been swapping jerseys with various players all throughout his final campaign in the league, including Dirk Nowitzki, Paul George and LeBron James. As one of the greatest 2-guards to ever dribble a basketball, everyone is sending the former Marquette Golden Eagle off with a hero's farewell. This tribute video plays on the jersey swaps and adds a sentimental twist.

Wade, now 37 years of age, racked up several accolades over the course of his career, including three championship titles, 13 All-Star nods and two All-NBA First-Team selections. He was also named to the NBA's All-Defensive Second Team on three occasions.

Wade is much more than another great athlete, however. He's also a great human being — one who is always willing to lend a helping hand. Fans (and other players) look up to him for good reason. His story of making it out of the inner city to become one of the greatest players in NBA history serves as their inspiration:

“I am more proud of the man you have become than the basketball player that you are,” Wade's mother said in the tribute video. “You are bigger than basketball.”

It will be tough to see Wade go, but as the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
