After splitting time between the Cavs and Lakers this past season, Andre Drummond will be testing the free agency market in the summer of 2021. With season averages of 14.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 49.3% shooting from the field, Drummond will be a highly sought free agent.

Given his size and mobility, Drummond would be the ideal pick-up for a contending team in strong need of more size and a dominant presence in the paint. Having said all this, let's take a look at the top four free agent landing spots for Andre Drummond this offseason.

Best Landing Spots for Andre Drummond:

4) Boston Celtics

Immediately following their first round exit from this year's playoffs, the Boston Celtics underwent sweeping changes all across the board. With Brad Stevens being promoted to president of basketball operations and Ime Udoka being hired as their new head coach, it looks as if the Celtics will be playing under a new system next season.

Speaking of changes, one area the Celtics will need an upgrade at is the center spot, and Andre Drummond would be the perfect fit for this perimeter oriented squad.

Adding Andre Drummond would shore up the Celtics frontline and give them a legit low-post threat when Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have poor shooting nights.

Plus with his strong rebounding and ability to finish at the rim, Boston would have more success on the glass next season. If the Celtics want to continue with their recent trend of implementing changes then signing Drummond is another addition they should consider making.

3) Brooklyn Nets

After falling short in a hard fought seven game series to the eventual Eastern Conference champion Milwaukee Bucks, the Brooklyn Nets have their work cut out for them this offseason. The biggest need for this team is a dominant low post presence that can rebound, finish strong at the rim, and give them a reliable set of active hands on the glass.

Signing Andre Drummond would give them a multi-skilled big that would fill all those holes perfectly and lessen the load for Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin. Plus with his mobility and stellar passing he would add to the Nets strong ball movement and fit in seamlessly with their fast paced style of play. Adding Drummond to this deep and star-studded Nets team would make for an intriguing move that could earn them an NBA finals berth next season.

2) Los Angeles Clippers

Currently possessing a plethora of defensive-minded combo guards that can space the floor and pick apart defenses with killer ball movement and lights out 3-point shooting, the Los Angeles Clippers biggest need is adding more size that can bulk up their frontcourt. In Andre Drummond they add a powerful and aggressive presence in the paint that gives them put-back dunks, offensive and defensive rebounds, and great interior passing that can add to Ty Lue's next man up system.

This would also give the Clippers a big man rotation of Drummond and Ivica Zubac. This would provide them with more length and much needed depth at the center spot that they've been lacking for the past few seasons. If the Clippers successfully sign Andre Drummond, next year could be the year they finally make their first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history.

1) Los Angeles Lakers

With a vast majority of their roster set to become unrestricted free agents this summer, the Los Angeles Lakers will more than likely have to re-tool. However, bringing back Drummond would be a re-signing that benefits both sides. Bringing back Andre Drummond to a Lakers frontcourt that features LeBron James and Anthony Davis would be vital for their success next season.

Not to mention Drummond would be getting an entire season to jell with this Lakers team which will bring a better result for them next season. Plus with the Lakers in win-now mode, they want to do all they can to maximize James' championship window while giving Davis more relief in their relatively thin frontcourt. If the Lakers want to return to the finals next season, then signing Andre Drummond should be a high priority for them this summer.
