Although the Brooklyn Nets' season came a close earlier than fans may have hoped, Kevin Durant's annual offseason Twitter tour has just begun. KD is infamous for using his social media platform to put anyone and everyone on blast, and he has already begun his tear on media personalities this summer.
Tensions between Durant and First Take host Stephen A. Smith sparked yesterday when KD responded to one of SAS's signature controversial takes. KD stated that Smith and similar talking heads were responsible for “changing the game for the worse.” Durant and Smith continued to trade jabs over Twitter in response to each other.
Durant seemingly had the last word, but added one more tweet for good measure in the aftermath of the Twitter beef. The Nets star minced no words in addressing his feelings on the media. Durant says the media is “sensitive” that he should be able to speak his mind just as NBA media personalities speak theirs.
Stephen A. took to his show and delivered his response to Durant's Twitter tirade:

“The Stephen A. Smith's of the world are not going anywhere,” Smith said. “I'm here now, and there will be hundreds, if not thousands who follow… we're here and we're gonna be here. Get over it, because we're not going anywhere.”
Durant is obviously not one to shy away from controversy, so it's unlikely we've seen the last of this feud. It is only a matter of time before KD drops another bomb on the timeline.
