The 2019-20 NBA season is on hiatus and we don't know when, or if it'll resume.
During the first full night of NBA games being postponed, commissioner Adam Silver addressed a national television audience. While appearing on TNT's “Inside the NBA,” Silver made it clear that the season hasn't been officially cancelled; however, he did state there is the chance that it will be.
While all such talk is premature, Silver did address some of his main concerns with the NBA season now being on hiatus. As stated by the commissioner, the league will likely not resume play for at least 30 days.

Will they be rejoining their families? What’s the best way to keep them safe? What’s the best way to keep them in shape? All those things are still on the table because this has happened so quickly.”
A lot has changed over the past 24 hours. After it was confirmed that Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus, Silver put a halt to the NBA season. Since Silver's announcement, other major North American sports leagues have followed. Leagues such as the NHL, XFL and even the NCAA with the cancellation of the March Madness tournament.
While the safety and the health of the players are the No. 1 concern, the next concern is what exactly to do with the players.
With the hiatus lasting at least a month, how will the NBA keep their players in shape? What will their living situations be?
These are all questions that will have to be answered in the coming weeks.
