After unloading Jeremy Lin and Isaiah Whitehead in a trade deal last week, the Brooklyn Nets have made a move today to add depth to their backcourt by agreeing to a two-year deal with shooting guard Treveon Graham, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Free agent forward Treveon Graham has agreed to a two-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. Graham, a 6-foot-5 wing, will have a full guarantee on the first season of new deal.

Graham landed in the free agent market after the Charlotte Hornets decided not to put a qualifying offer on his table. Fortunately for the former Virginia Commonwealth University Rams star, his unemployed status did not last long with the Nets picking the 24-year-old guard up from the market.

Undrafted in the 2015, Graham eventually found his way into the NBA when he signed a one-year deal with the Charlotte Hornets in 2016. In two seasons with the Hornets, Graham put together a ho-hum stat line of 3.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.4 steals in 90 games, including just three starts.

Graham can play both wing positions and should provide some spacing as a 43.8 percent 3-point shooter for his career. Minutes in that role might be hard to come with DeMarre Carroll, Allen Crabbe, Joe Harris, and Caris LeVert, along with rookies Dzanan Musa and Rodions Kurucs, all part of the pecking order.

Over the course of Sean Marks' tenure, the Nets have taken flyers on multiple young prospects, finding intriguing overlooked talents like guard Spencer Dinwiddie.
