Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant was the betting favorite to win the NBA 2K20 players tournament, but he lost in the first round to Miami Heat high-flyer Derrick Jones Jr. and Minnesota Timberwolves veteran Evan Turner made sure he was there to let KD know he lost.

Apparently, all 90's babies are really good at 2K. Turner believes Durant never stood a chance against Jones:

Derrick Jones Jr. is only 23, while Kevin Durant is 31.

It's safe to say Jones has logged more hours of 2K than Durant, which begs the question of why the Nets star was considered the betting favorite in the first place.

Nets fans weren't able to watch Durant hoop this season because of his Achilles tear. Whenever the 2020-21 season starts, the Nets will be title contenders since they'll have both Durant and Kyrie Irving in the lineup.

KD has career NBA averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists. He's one of the greatest players in NBA history, but none of that translated to a win over Jones in NBA 2K.
