Kevin Durant just achieved a historic scoring milestone on Monday night as he led the Brooklyn Nets to a 114-106 win over the Utah Jazz. KD dropped a game-high 37 points en route to climbing the NBA's all-time scoring list.

After Monday's epic performance, The Nets superstar is now at 25,193 career points. Durant just surpassed Hall of Fame guard Jerry West for the 22nd spot on the prestigious list (h/t Brooklyn Nets on Twitter):

Durant will continue to climb the leaderboard this season, with the great Reggie Miller now just 86 points ahead of KD.

Durant's scoring milestone comes just days after Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James became the second-highest scorer in the history of the league. KD is still quite a ways away from the top, but he's slowly making his way there. The Nets All-Star may not be able to climb as high as LeBron, but he's definitely still going to be regarded as one of the greatest scorers to have ever picked up a basketball.

It is worth noting that apart from LeBron, it's only Carmelo Anthony that is the only remaining active player in the Top 20. KD will be joining this extremely short list sooner rather than later.
