This has been an absolutely awful series from the Brooklyn Nets against the Boston Celtics. The team has been outplayed at both ends of the floor by the men in green, in particular on the defensive side of things. The Celtic defense has given Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving fits all series long, and it had a major impact on their offense.

Another teammate of Irving that spoke of something to that effect was Blake Griffin. The Nets forward pointed out that they've had new players like Seth Curry and Andre Drummond enter the team in the middle of the season.

The season isn't completely over yet for the Nets. Irving himself knows a thing or two about coming back from a series deficit. To get to the second round, though, they'll have to do the improbable 0-3 come back in the playoffs.
