Brooklyn Nets small forward Jared Dudley and Philadelphia 76ers point forward Ben Simmons are developing a fiery rivalry in the 2019 playoffs.

Dudley said Simmons is an average player in the half-court before Game 3. Simmons responded by putting up 31 points and nine assists to lead the Sixers to a Game 3 win at the Nets' house.

Dudley also airballed a 3-pointer in Game 3 and Simmons put his hands up, basically signaling the shot had no chance at going in.

Well, Game 4 is a new day for Dudley and the Nets and the veteran small forward is keeping the beef alive. After he hit a 3-pointer, Dudley put his hands up and looked right at Simmons.

This is what the playoffs are all about. The Nets and Sixers clearly don't like each other and Dudley and Simmons are the leaders of that.

When you're playing the same team every other night, tensions are going to be high. Dudley just added more fuel to the fire by calling out Simmons before Game 3. Simmons also took a shot at Dudley by saying “it's Jared Dudley” when asked by a reporter to respond to Dudley's average comment.

Later in the game, Dudley and Jimmy Butler were both ejected.

The Nets have to win Game 4 to stay alive in the series.
