Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is good at football. Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is also good at football. While the former doesn't actually hate the latter, he does have a weird way of describing the two's relationship.

“We’re frenemies,” Bryant said, via 105.3 The Fan’s Mike Fisher. “You do it your way. I do it my way. This is how we going to ride. And it’s no problem.”

There is a history between Josh Norman and Dez Bryant.

On Thanksgiving in 2016, Bryant and Norman battled all game, in front of a national audience, and afterwards there was a confrontation between the two talents. After the game, in the locker room Bryant called Norman soft, and Norman responded by saying Bryant started the whole altercation.

They have played each other since with no incidents happening between the two. Maybe they are now friendly, or friendly enough, that there won't be that much trash talking between them moving forward. It would be a sad thing, as we should all want more WWE-styled promos in our professional sports.

Both the Cowboys and Redskins aren't as successful to start the season as either would probably like, with the Philadephia Eagles being the current team on top of the NFC East, but it is still early enough in the season that they could catch up to the birds (provided a bunch of things fall in their favor).

Josh Normal is actually slightly injured heading into the weekend. However, he is expected to play against his “frenemy.”
