New season, same unique fashion sense for Cam Newton.

The new quarterback of the New England Patriots arrived at the Gillette Stadium ahead of the Patriots game against the Miami Dolphins wearing a bright yellow suit, which obviously sent Twitter into a frenzy.

One compared Newton’s fit to the iconic yellow suit worn by Jim Carrey in the 1994 comedy film, “The Mask.”

Another couldn’t help but use the lyrics to Coldplay’s 2000 song “Yellow” to describe the outfit.

For others, the latest addition to Newton’s collection of fashionable suits is reminiscent of clothes usually worn on Easter Sunday.

The Patriots are no stranger to having a quarterback who likes to dress well. Their last one, Tom Brady, is married to the one of the world’s highest paid models in Gisele Bundchen, and has been a fixture at the annual MET Gala.

However, Brady’s fashion sense is much different from Newton’s. While Brady is known to stick to suits in his appearances with the Patriots, Newton treats every game, press conference, and media appearance like a fashion show back when he played for the Carolina Panthers. Needless to say, a change in address did not mean a change in the 2015 MVP’s bold fashion choices. Not to mention his iconic hats, which also seemed to follow him to Gillette Stadium.

The first overall pick of the 2011 Draft is set to make his debut for the Patriots and coach Bill Belichick against the Dolphins. New England, meanwhile, will play its first game without Brady, who left the team for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last April.
