Aaron Rodgers could be losing yet another one of his best toys downfield. Apart from Jordy Nelson, who exited in the first quarter of Sunday’s 34-23 road loss to the Atlanta Falcons with a quad injury (never returned in the game), Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are also staring at the possibility of Randall Cobb going absent.

Cobb hurt his shoulder against the Falcons, forcing him to exit and get tagged questionable to return. Before calling it a day, Cobb had registered 60 receiving yards on nine catches. He was bound to get busier following Nelson’s injury, but now that he’s also been hurt, a ton of workload could possibly come Davante Adam’s way for the meantime.

That said, the extend of Cobb’s injury has yet to be reported. With a week to heal and prepare for Green Bay’s Week 3 showdown with the struggling Cincinnati Bengals, Cobb could ultimately be declared good to go for that contest.

Should Cobb eventually sit out Week 3, Geronimo Allison and Ty Montgomery are also likely to see an uptick in targets.
