On Tuesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics agreed to a blockbuster trade that shook the foundation of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. Superstar Kyrie Irving is now a member of the Celtics, and New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked about the deal.

With Belichick being regularly seen at Celtics games at TD Garden, it was a fitting question during a preseason in which the Super Bowl champions are going through the motions, via Dan Hanzus of NFL.com.

Reporter: What is your reaction to the big trade last night between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers?

Belichick: Yeah, I'm really focused on our team. I've got my plate full with that.

A typical response from the longtime Patriots head coach. Belichick rarely entertains the media with answers to questions like these.

Regardless of Belichick coming at the press with a typical dismissive response, the head coach is solely focused on his team and who can blame him considering his success and the fact New England is favored to win it all once again this season.

As for the Celtics, the team moves on with a new face of the franchise in Irving while Isaiah Thomas heads to the Cavaliers to play alongside LeBron James in Cleveland. Ironically enough, these two teams will meet in their season-opener on Oct. 17 at Quicken Loans Arena.
