With the Washington Redskins facing a lot of uncertainties at quarterback, some are suggesting that the team should go after West Virginia quarterback Will Grier in the 2019 NFL draft.

It's been quite a season for the Redskins under center, and it all started when Alex Smith suffered a broken leg against the Houston Texans.

Then came Colt McCoy suffering a broken leg as well before Washington turned to Mark Sanchez, who struggled so much that the team turned to Josh Johnson as the new starter down the stretch.

So, with Smith facing a long road to recovery, it would make sense that the Redskins do their best to have multiple options in place at quarterback.

And at least one person thinks that Grier should be a priority target.

From Bleacher Report:

Regardless of Smith's condition, the Washington Redskins must draft a quarterback unless they're able to sign Bridgewater or acquire Flacco in a trade. The front office may not have to move up for Will Grier, who lists third in Miller's big board quarterback rankings.

Grier put together a stellar season with the Mountaineers this year, as he completed 266 passes for 3,864 yards and 37 touchdowns while throwing just eight interceptions.

With the Redskins now officially out of the playoff race, the front office will certainly start to ponder what options they may have this offseason when it comes to revamping key positions on the roster.

And with so many unknowns at quarterback right now, addressing that position will surely be at the top of their list.
