The Houston Rockets caught fire from beyond the arc against the Sacramento Kings, eventually ending the game with an NBA-record tying 26 3-pointers made.
Houston smothered the home team 130-105 behind a hot shooting spree led by James Harden, Eric Gordon and Danuel House Jr. The team was highly efficient throughout and finished on 42.6 percent shooting from distance.

With the performance, the Rockets matched the record for most triples in a game, which they set earlier this season. On December 19, 2018, Houston obliterated the Wizards with 26 3-pointers en route to a 136-118 victory.
Interestingly, it took Mike D'Antoni's side 61 tries to match the landmark feat, six more than their attempts in setting the record against the Wizards.
Harden led the way for the Rockets, making seven triples on 58.3 percent shooting to finish with 36 points. Eric Gordon had five treys, while Danuel House Jr. ended up with four.
The Rockets could have broke the record after they equaled the record with roughly three minutes to go in the game. However, they missed all their five attempts from downtown since then.
Harden and Co. improved to 50-28 on the season and further solidified their place in the Western Conference standings. They are currently third in the West playoff race, one game ahead of the fourth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers.
