The Houston Rockets sent out some good news on Monday morning, noting that Russell Westbrook and Eric Gordon are expected to be back in the lineup this week.

Westbrook has been dealing with a bruised quad as of late, but the former UCLA standout is expected to be available for Tuesday night's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. Gordon, on the other hand, has been out since July 29 with a left ankle injury, but he too is expected to be back in action at some point this week. It's also worth noting that the Rockets will rest James Harden on Tuesday:

The Rockets have played well in recent games, winning four of their first five outings inside the NBA's bubble complex. Westbrook, as well as James Harden, have played a big role in the team's success.

Through 56 games played this season, Westbrook has turned in averages of 27.4 points on 47.2 percent shooting from the field (25.4 percent from beyond the arc), 8.0 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.6 steals.

Gordon, who was initially projected to miss two weeks of time, has racked up averages of 14.5 points on 37.0 percent shooting from the field.

Tuesday's matchup between the Rockets and Spurs is scheduled to tip inside the NBA's bubble at 2:00 p.m. ET, with NBA TV having live broadcast coverage.
