Allen Iverson is currently inactive. 

He was born on June 07, 1975. He is listed at 6-foot-0 and weighs 165 lbs.

Iverson went to Bethel High School in Hampton, Virginia before attending Georgetown University. Iverson would go on to be the No.1 overall pick in the 1996 draft, selected by the Philadelphia 76ers.

During his NBA career he played 12 seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, 3 seasons with the Denver Nuggets, 1 season with the Detroit Pistons and 1 season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Iverson is widely regarded as one of the best scorers in NBA history and backed that up by being a 4-time NBA scoring leader during his career. He won NBA Most Valuable Player in 2001 and was also an 11-time NBA all-star. Iverson was named to seven All-NBA teams during his career as well.

He played in one NBA Finals, in 2001, when the 76ers were taken out by the Los Angeles Lakers in five games. Iverson’s most notable performance came in game one, when he scored 48 points in the 76ers 107-101 victory.

Known widely as “the Answer” and “AI,” Iverson will go down as one the greats to ever do it. He was inducted to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
