The quarterback situation isn't getting any better for the Pittsburgh Steelers are they're struggling to find a consistent signal-caller to finish the season with. They thought they may have found it with Devlin Hodges, but the undrafted rookie has shown hiccups himself this season.

Given how the Steelers gave Mason Rudolph a short leash, it would be easy to think that Duck Hodges is also feeling the pressure to perform this late into the season. However, he claims that he's far from feeling any kind of pressure at the moment. He's focusing on playing a great game against the New York Jets this Sunday.

“I don’t,” he said, via Trib Live's Chris Adamski. “I don’t think any of the coaches are thinking about that because I don’t think any of the coaches are expecting me to have a bad game. They are expecting me to learn, play better and do well.”

The Samford product's performance has been up and down ever since taking over the starting job in Week 12. He had outstanding performance against the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals. However, he fell short against the Cleveland Browns and was atrocious against the Buffalo Bills. It was hard for coaches to figure out which version they would end up with today.

Given how the Jets have been disappointing like the Bengals and the Cardinals this year, it's easy to think that he'll be able to step up to the plate against them. However, it's better for Steelers fans to not get ahead of themselves and hope that their starting QB won't choke in the pocket.
