The Pittsburgh Steelers escaped the Seattle Seahawks with a 23-20 win, but head coach Mike Tomlin is certainly not happy it had to go to overtime.

Tomlin is not blaming his team and their collapse on the defensive end after leading by 14 at halftime. Instead, he's absolutely frustrated with the officiating that almost cost them the game.

For those who were not able to catch the contest, it appeared the Steelers forced a fumble in the dying seconds and left no time for the Seahawks to kick the ball for a field goal to tie the game. The clock had already hit zero at that point, but officials reviewed the play that led to time being added to the clock. As a result, Seattle got one last chance to send the game to OT and didn't waste the opportunity with a Jason Myers kick.

While the Steelers were able to take the W, thanks to TJ Watt forcing a fumble to give them the ball in OT, Pittsburgh wouldn't have needed such heroic effort just to win had the officials not overturned the last-second ruling.

“It was an embarrassment,” Tomlin said of the officiating, per Brooke Pryor of ESPN.

Had the Steelers lost the game, Mike Tomlin would have certainly been more frustrated and would have probably lashed out at the referees by now. After all, Pittsburgh has been struggling with wins this season, so they really need anything they can get.

Luckily, things still worked out in their favor. However, Tomlin and Co. wouldn't want a repeat of what happened since they know they won't always be lucky.
