Former NBA guard and current New Orleans Pelicans color analyst Antonio Daniels is a big fan of Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker.
Daniels says Booker has “top 10 potential” and the Suns have to do a better job of surrounding the youngster with more talent.

Devin Booker has established himself as one of the best scorers in the league. He scored a whopping 70 points during the 2016-17 season against the Boston Celtics.
Last season for the Suns, Booker averaged 26.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.8 assists while shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 32.6 percent from beyond the arc and 86.6 percent from the free-throw line. The sky is the limit for Booker, who is only 22.
Booker gets double-teamed all the time during the NBA season because let’s face it, the Suns don’t have anyone else on the roster who scares teams. The easiest way to defeat the Suns is to get the ball out of Booker’s hands and force the other guys to beat you.
Antonio Daniels says Phoenix's management should take more heat for letting guys like Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe go — although Bledsoe requested a trade.
The Suns signed veteran point guard Ricky Rubio this summer, so Booker will be able to focus on scoring this upcoming season instead of having to run the offense and score. Phoenix is also counting on 2018 No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton to take the next step and become a more polished post player.
