Justin Jefferson shows support for Odell Beckham Jr. with pregame gear
Odell Beckham was released by the Cleveland Browns this week. It was a move waiting to happen as it was clear Beckham wasn’t happy in Cleveland. It was an ugly ending between the two parties as Beckhams’ father released a long video to social media that showed every play that Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield missed his son.
Jefferson and other Vikings players are showing their support for the star wide receiver, who can be claimed off waivers this week.
Both star receivers are LSU alumni. They have shared a close relationship together for quite some time. Beckham was at the current Vikings star receiver college national championship game. At that game, Beckham gave the LSU players cash for winning the title. Beckham had an inside joke with Jefferson that when they met up this season he’s only coming to the game for his $600 that Jefferson owes him.
The Vikings could use another electric wide receiver. It’s a possibility that this connection between Odell and Jefferson can benefit both parties. Odell can play with his friend for a season and the Vikings get an incredible wide receiver. Odell will be picked up by someone this week. The question now is by who?
Minnesota will take on the Ravens in a tough Week 9 match.
