Like true, um, wizards, the Washington Wizards magically erased a 19-point deficit on Monday night to complete a come-from-behind victory over the lowly New Orleans Pelicans, 105-100.

With their escape job, the Wizards extended their winning streak to five games and improved to 10-3—now the best record in the Eastern Conference.

After the game, Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma made sure to remind people on Twitter that they're pretty good.

As many have predicted, Kuzma is enjoying a rejuvenated career with the Wizards. The change of scenery and being given more opportunities to make plays have been nothing but fantastic for the previously erratic Kuzma. While he's not yet at an All-Star level, he's definitely a key cog in their strong campaign, even sinking several clutch shots this season.

Kuzma had pedestrian numbers against the Pelicans, finishing with eight points and eight rebounds, but his energy was felt throughout the contest, helping the Wizards climb out of the huge hole.

Kuzma has always been touted as a rising star since he entered the NBA. While his growth got a bit derailed during his last few years with the Los Angeles Lakers, he could finally unlock his true potential with the Wizards as an impact player on both ends for rookie coach Wes Unseld Jr.

They can go for their sixth consecutive win on Wednesday when they visit the Charlotte Hornets.
