Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal has been playing some amazing basketball ever since starting point guard John Wall went down with his left heel injury, but Beal says it's “nonsense” he's a better player without Wall.

In fact, Bradley Beal says it's a lot harder to play basketball when John Wall isn't in the lineup for the Wizards.

John Wall underwent season-ending surgery on his left heel, so the Wizards' offense is now running exclusively through Bradley Beal, and the sharpshooter is not disappointing.

Beal was averaging 30.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists entering Thursday since Wall went down. The All-Star guard finished with 26 points, nine rebounds and four assists in London, as the Wizards defeated the New York Knicks by a final score of 101-100 on Thursday.

With a higher usage rate, Beal's numbers were going to rise now that Wall is out of the lineup. Washington is 19-26 on the season after defeating the Knicks. They are still out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference, but only 2.5 games back.

With the way Bradley Beal has been playing as of late, it would be a shame if this Wizards team doesn't make the postseason. You would hate to see Beal's hard work go to waste.
