There are some questions about Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan's future with the team, but he feels good and is ready to be a significant contributor on the team this year. Over his first two seasons, Trevathan missed 11 games, and the team drafted two linebackers in the 2018 draft, and there were questions if he would be a trade candidate.

The team decided to keep him around, and all he did was start every game and impress everyone that watched him. The last couple of years have opened up Trevathan's eyes, and he is trying to enjoy playing more and have more fun on the field.

“I’m just appreciating each day,” Trevathan said, via Kevin Fishbain of TheAthletic.com. “It’s a blessing to be this far. I take nothing for granted. I just work my tail off and try to bring as many people along with me as I can. We’ve been moving it forward in the right direction. That’s what you like to see in an organization that’s young. Four years here, man. It feels great. I still feel like I’ve got plenty more in me. I’m taking it stride by stride.”

Trevathan is only 29 years old, and although the Bears haven't offered him another contract, he has made it clear before he would like to stay in Chicago. Most importantly right now is this upcoming season and if the Bears defense want's to be as good of last year, they are going to need Trevathan to have another big season.
