The Chicago Bears want Mitchell Trubisky to move on from his Week 1 loss against the Green Bay Packers and part of that is not talking about what happened. Trubisky told the media via Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune that:

“I was told not to talk about the last game.”

Trubisky was asked to go through a failed run-pass option from Week 1 and after turning to a team spokesman, Trubisky responded “no.”

When asked who told him not to talk about the game, he mentioned the team's spokesman among other people. It's one thing to want Trubisky to move on, but not answering media questions probably isn't the right way to go about it.

Trubisky has no problem talking about success the team has when they win games, so every time they lose is Trubisky just not going to mention the game anymore?

Coach Matt Nagy said it's most important for Trubisky and the team to learn from their mistakes and move on rather than dwell on it.

“Offensively, you identify the problem, you fix it and you move on,” coach Matt Nagy said. “You don’t dwell on it. I don’t deal with that well, so I’m not going to sit here and be negative. I’m not going to dwell on it; I’m going to use it.”

The Bears now go to Denver on Sunday to take on the Broncos and if they were to lose the game, it seems it could be another quiet week next week for the Bears quarterback.
