Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks won their first championship in 50 years in 2021, and now Christian Yelich and the Milwaukee Brewers are trying to channel that energy as they begin what they hope will be a run to the World Series.

Yelich posted a hype video on Twitter featuring the words of Giannis over it. It should definitely get Milwaukee fans riled up:

Even with the St. Louis Cardinals' hot streak to end the season, the Brewers ran away with the NL Central, winning it by five games. Milwaukee did end the regular season on a four-game losing streak, so it's time to refocus and get ready to win some playoff games.

The Brewers' postseason journey begins in the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves, who broke away from the pack to win the terrible NL East by 6.5 games. While Milwaukee won seven more games than Atlanta in the regular season, it's the Braves coming into the playoffs with the momentum.

Yelich and the Brewers will surely look to The Greek Freak for motivation after he finally broke through and won a championship. There were some trials and tribulations along the way, including the embarrassing loss in the bubble, but Giannis and the Bucks pushed through the adversity to win it all this past season.

Yelich has faced his own adversity the last couple of years. Once one of the most feared hitters in baseball, the slugger has regressed mightily over the last two seasons. But if he can come up big in the playoffs, that won't matter.

It's go time for the Milwaukee Brewers.
