The Denver Broncos got old real fast. It hasn't helped the National Football League franchise that only inept play has come from the quarterback position, too. Head coach Vance Joseph has, unfortunately for him, been the man to take the blunt of the blame for all of it.

He gets it, though. Vance Joseph understands the criticism going to him. In fact, he says that is where it should go.

“I get it, man,” Joseph said, via Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com. “I feel the same way the fans feel and how outside people feel. We’re disappointed in how it’s gone. We started 3-1 and it was going pretty good, we had a bye, we had a game we should have won and we didn’t and we haven’t won since. I get it, it’s hard job.

“I get the criticism and I don’t mind it, it’s well deserved. That being said, we’ve got seven weeks left and at the end, we can only be judged by what we’ve done in the season … we’ll see.”

Denver's defense is no longer the best in the NFL. It is barely only average. This could be due to it constantly being on the field after the offense has a short stint of its own, but there's so much going on it is just too hard to figure it all out.

Obviously, the most notable issue the team has is at quarterback. This isn't really something that is Joseph's fault, as he's not the one who designed the roster. Still, I guess a guy has to do what he can with what he is given.
