The Cleveland Browns have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL over the last several weeks that have seen them win four out of their last five games that have kept their playoff chances alive.

Although these odds have become quite slim heading into the final two games of the season, rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield has voiced that his focus is on helping guide his team to a pair of wins in the last two contests, according to Pat Chiesa of WKYC.

The Browns have the odds stacked against them, but that hasn't deterred Mayfield looking to continue to lead his teams to more wins on the field. This is a situation that has been stacked against them throughout much of the year, which has made his approach in the final two games nothing different from any of the other games played so far.

Mayfield has continued to show promising development that has created a bright future ahead of the franchise as he has helped lead the franchise toward a strong late-season push. He has demonstrated much poise in the pocket while increasingly greater command of the offense where he has led the team to much success in the process in the last several weeks.

In the last five games, he has picked it up throw the ball with more effectiveness with 11 touchdown passes to four interceptions along with 1,297 passing yards over that span. He has brought a tremendous amount of stability under center, which is something that the franchise has lacked for quite some time. Regardless if the Browns make the playoffs or not, it is a chance for him to build on what has become an impressive rookie campaign where he has clearly shown he can be the quarterback that can lead them to be much more than just a competitive team.
