Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has helped create a spike in the team's jersey sales since his signing in free agency.

Despite the love from his new home city, it seems his most staunch support system remains in New England. According to Dakota Randall of NESN, his jersey remains as popular as ever in states where the Patriots faithful is the most prevalent.

Here are the top-selling states for Brady's new Buccaneers jersey:

1. Rhode Island 2. Massachusetts 3. New Hampshire 4. Connecticut 5. Maine 6. Florida 7. Wisconsin 8. Michigan 9. South Carolina 10. Colorado

There is no question that Brady's departure to the Buccaneers was a tough pill to swallow for many in the New England area. Although his time in Foxborough may have come to an end, it is safe to say that his fan base in the surrounding area remains as strong as ever.

Of course, this should hardly come as any surprise considering all that he was able to accomplish during his time with the Patriots. He provided the city with countless memories and two decades of dominance all while working under a hometown discount for the bulk of his career.

Since the team opted not to pay him back for his services and allow him to sign with the Buccaneers as a free agent, it seems the fans have put the onus ton themselves to pick up the tab.

Brady has already started to make his presence felt with the Buccaneers by releasing his own trademark apparel that will feature his name-play with Tampa Bay.

While this merchandise may not be as popular back in New England, he can take solace in the fact that his jersey is still quite the commodity among Patriots fans.
