The Milwaukee Bucks have no plans of letting Giannis Antetokounmpo go, and co-owner Wes Edens made that clear in a recent interview with TMZ Sports.

Antetokounmpo has been recently linked with the Golden State Warriors, with ESPN's Ramona Shelburne claiming that the Dubs are a “big threat” to the Bucks in keeping the 2019 MVP. The Greek Freak is under contract with Milwaukee until the 2020-21 season.

Edens, however, remains intent on keeping Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee, even going as far as to saying that they want to be “part of his life for the rest of his basketball career.”

“He's a special basketball player, obviously, but he's an even more special person,” Edens said, via Bleacher Report. “What you see is what you get. He's an amazing guy, he's amazing to the organization, he's amazing to his family. He's really an incredible character. Obviously, we want to be a part of his life for the rest of his basketball career.”

Antetokounmpo has re-affirmed his love for Milwaukee in several occasions and said he wants to win a title with the team. However, he also pointed he would stay as long as the team keeps winning.

While Antetokounmpo has stated previously that he doesn't want to join forces with other superstars, a lot can change in two years. There's no doubt, nonetheless, that Milwaukee will do their best to satisfy their best player.
