Malcolm Brogdon (foot) out for Game 3 vs. Celtics
By all accounts, Milwaukee Bucks combo guard Malcolm Brogdon is feeling a lot better and looking like himself in practice. Brogdon suffered a minor plantar fascia tear in his right foot back on March 15 and has been out ever since.
Despite Bucks guard Sterling Brown telling reporters Brogdon looked really good in the team’s last practice, the 2017 Rookie of the Year is still not ready to play.
Brogdon won’t play for the Bucks in Game 3 against the Boston Celtics on Friday. The series is tied at 1-1:

Brogdon played in 64 games during the regular season. He averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest while shooting 50.5 percent from the field, 42.6 percent from beyond the arc and 92.8 percent from the free-throw line.
The Bucks need to win one game in Boston to reclaim home-court advantage. Milwaukee went 0-3 in Boston during the 2018 playoffs.
Game 4 of this series is on Monday, May 6. The Bucks are hoping Brogdon will be able to suit up for that contest, although it’s hard to say how effective the Georgia native would be since he’s been out for so long. Missing all that game action and then being asked to play in a playoff game is a lot to handle.
