The Milwaukee Bucks expected a huge bounce-back Game 4 after falling short in an overtime loss to the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 of the series. Yet the Bucks locker room was “eerily silent” after they were handed a 120-102 loss on Tuesday night, now going back home with the series tied 2-2.

“Players didn't speak to one another — not even in a whisper,” wrote ESPN's Malika Andrews. “The loudest sound was the whirring ceiling fan and Antetokounmpo's cellphone alarm notifying him it was time to take off his ice bags.”

Star Giannis Antetokounmpo had a much better game, posting 25 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists while shooting over 50% from the floor. Shooting guard Khris Middleton bounced back as well, leading the pack with a scorching 30 points on 11-of-15 shooting, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, six rebounds and seven assists.

Yet point guard Eric Bledsoe continued his shooting struggles, mustering only five points in 20 minutes, as the Bucks bench struggled to bring the same firepower that kept them in Game 3.

“A plethora of things went wrong,” said swingman Pat Connaughton. “We weren't able to withstand adversity the way we normally do.”\

The Raptors started to pull away in the second quarter and did not let go of the rope through the rest of the game, only increasing their advantage in the third and fourth quarters while knotting this series at two games apiece.

Milwaukee still has the home court advantage as this becomes a best-of-three series, but the Bucks will need to solve the issues that ail them before they can march on to the NBA Finals.
