The Milwaukee Bucks fell short in their pursuit of a trip to the NBA finals. It appears point guard George Hill is among the players whose days in Milwaukee are now limited.

The Bucks have some big decisions to make this offseason. According to Sam Amico of amicohoops.net, he is reportedly set to be waived this offseason in order to avoid picking up his $19 million salary for the 2019-20 NBA season:

While he played well during the playoffs, the Bucks are likely to waive veteran point guard George Hill to avoid picking up his $19 million salary, per multiple reports.

This is certainly an interesting development coming out of Milwaukee. The Bucks are coming off a rather successful season, however, there are still many questions after they surrendered a 2-0 series lead to the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals. As a result, the onus is now on the front office to surround forward Giannis Antetokounmpo with a stronger supporting cast and it seems Hill could be the first casualty of their attempts to do so.

The veteran had bee a serviceable point guard during the regular season. He even managed to sep his game up in the playoffs and was an integral part of the team's rotation. Hill finished the postseason averaging 11.5 points while shooting 53.4 percent from the field. He will be set to test the market if the Bucks decide not to pick up his option for next season. It will be interesting to see if he is still part of the roster when it is all said and done.
