The Chicago Bulls look like they could be dropping some hints on their team website. The Bulls website posted on Friday an in-depth look at former Texas Longhorns center Mo Bamba who is expected to be one one of the first guys taken off the board during the draft.

Sam Smith of the official Chicago Bulls website believes Bamba will probably not be taken any later than five where the Dallas Mavericks pick, but the Bulls are still holding a workout with him, even though they hold the seventh pick.

There have been some rumors that the Memphis Grizzlies would like to move down from the fourth spot, and that could be a good trading spot for the Bulls if they would be willing to give up enough. Bamba was asked about his fit for the Bulls, and he said he would really enjoy playing in Chicago.

“Chicago is a great city. It is a very young team and I could see myself playing here,” Bamba told reporters after his morning workout with the Bulls. “Obviously the goal was to be the No. 1 pick, but Chicago had all the assets and everything.”

“When you look at all the categories that they struggled in, those were all things that I could step in and help impact immediately. Like they were last or second to in blocked shots and I like to think of myself as a pretty good shot blocker. I could step in immediately and have an impact for this team and this organization.”

There is no question the Bulls need a center and this could be a perfect fit, but the Bulls are going to have to move up if they want any chance for the shot blocking machine.
