The Los Angeles Rams have reported for voluntary offseason workouts, and the Butting Heads crew have returned for a voluntary discussion.
Steve Rebeiro and Johnny Gomez celebrate Aaron Donald's return to an official offseason program. It's been a long time! They also discuss the star of the voluntary workouts: Todd Gurley's knee. They analyze head coach Sean McVay's comments about his health, why he was riding the pine in the playoffs, and what to expect from Gurley in 2019. The guys even look at full quotes from the man himself.
Later, Steve and Johnny look at Russell Wilson's newly signed 4-year, $140-million extension. Did the Seahawks make the right decision? Is Wilson worth it long-term? Is Jared Goff going to demand more money with this new precedent set? Steve and Johnny break it all down.
In the next segment, general manager Les Snead kept his options open when discussing Joseph Noteboom. Snead noted that Noteboom could start at guard, but he also has no problem drafting a guard and moving the second-year lineman back to tackle. Michael Brockers has also stated that he'd prefer to remain at defensive end, but he will move to nose tackle if needed. The guys look at the situation in the trenches.
Finally, there are just a few day remaining until the 2019 NFL Draft. The guys discuss what they hope the Rams plan on doing with their first round pick, something they haven't had in ages.
