Running back Kenyan Drake showed a lot of potential in the first few years of his NFL career. However, it was not until after he was traded to the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 that he turned into a superstar.

Following his breakout campaign, many have high expectations for Drake. That includes the running back himself.

Drake took to Twitter to give himself an endorsement. He seems to be telling fantasy football owners that if they draft him, he will help them win a championship.

Prior to 2019, Drake had spent three seasons with the Dolphins. Those three seasons saw plenty of glimpses of potential. However, the numbers were never spectacular.

It always seemed like Miami did not want to give him full control of the running back role.

Then came 2019. After six games with the Dolphins (174 yards and no touchdowns), Drake was sent to the Cardinals.

In just eight games with Arizona, Drake racked up 643 yards (just one off his career-high) and eight touchdowns (a new career best).

He even managed 28 receptions for 171 more yards in the air.

Clearly, something clicked for Drake in Arizona. It could have just been that he was finally given a chance to shine, or simply that he needed a change of scenery.

Whatever it was, Drake became a star in very short order. And now he is expected to take another step forward in 2020.

The good news is, it seems that the running back himself has plenty of confidence in his game.

Drake going to social media to lobby for fantasy owners to draft him should raise his stock a little bit. Quite often, players will talk about their dislike for fans worrying about fantasy football when it comes to their game.

It seems like Drake is embracing it though. He believes he's going to put up massive numbers, and seems to think if you take him, a 2020 fantasy football championship could be in your future.
