The Arizona Cardinals are set to engage in an all-out war with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The Cardinals are desperately attempting to secure their spot in the playoffs with a win against the Rams, which will require everyone available to elevate themselves in Week 17.

Unfortunately, the Cardinals will be without one of their top weapons, with Larry Fitzgerald ruled out for Sunday.

Fitzgerald is dealing with a groin injury that was speculated to keep him out of commision against the Rams, but no official decisions had been made coming into the latter half of the week. The 37-year-old didn't participate in practice this week, but that was the case last week against the San Francisco 49ers as well, and Fitzgerald was able to participate.

Being without Fitzgerald draws the wideout options a little thin for the Cardinals. They're already without Christian Kirk, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. DeAndre Hopkins will be available on Sunday, though he is still dealing with a nagging hip injury that could limit his production.

Kyler Murray is another playout to closely monitor on Sunday. While he plans to play past his leg injury in a win-or-go-home situation, his level of production could be minimized against an elite Rams defense.

Running back Chase Edmonds is active.

The Cardinals dropped a critical loss to the 49ers in Week 16, which makes their situation on Sunday more dire. The Rams, meanwhile, are looking to cement their playoff berth with a win. If they do lose, they'll be relying on the Green Bay Packers beating the Chicago Bears in order to avoid missing the playoffs.
