More often than not, you'd expect something great when purchasing a pack of sports cards. While the actual results aren't really earth-shattering, there have been several instances when something unexpected came out of these products. In the rarest of circumstances, a pleasant surprise was waiting to be discovered inside an ordinary pack of soccer cards. Something no one expected in a million years.

In a video posted by Find Your Trove and shared by Goldin on Twitter, a pack of 2014 Panini Prizm World Cup was being ripped apart by a card breaker. After pulling the first two cards, something out of the ordinary was seen right away. Upon further inspection, it was an autographed card by the Black Mamba himself, the late Kobe Bryant.

The card, a Fans Of The Game autograph card with a One of One badge on the back features the Los Angeles Lakers legend and his signature on it. Apart from the rarer One of One pull, there is another autographed variant with 25 copies from this Panini set of soccer cards.

Of course, the peculiar thing about this insane Kobe Bryant card is that determining its price can't be done. That's because it's literally the only one of its kind in existence. Not until it's sold on eBay or other popular mediums on the market will the price be known. One thing is for sure, though. The moment this card gets slabbed and obtains at least a grade of 9, its price tag will definitely contain a lot of zeroes in it.

But for now, a good gauge will have to be the 2014 Panini Prizm World Cup hobby box in which this Kobe Bryant auto and other soccer cards from 2014 can be pulled. The price of the said box is being sold for $6,900. That's a pretty hefty price to pay just to pull a Kobe Bryant auto out of it. In any case, that's a high-risk, high-reward scenario for collectors who like to live on the edge.

This incredible pull proves that you can't predict what can happen in a box break. It just goes to show how things can suddenly skyrocket in a moment's notice.
