Having played in the NBA for 13 years, Caron Butler has competed against the basketball greats of this generation. That said, he has a deep understanding of how someone can be considered one of the best in the league.

After watching Game 4 of the second round playoff series between the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics, the 37-year-old Connecticut product was left very impressed with John Wall. He took to his Twitter account to let his followers know how high he ranks him among all players in the Eastern Conference.

Despite losing the first two games of the matchup, Wall has led the Wizards to back-to-back wins of their own to even the series at two games apiece. The four-time All-Star point guard has played incredibly in the postseason and is averaging 29.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 11.0 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game.

If he continues to play at this level, it won't come as a surprise if Butler will not be the only former player to give high praise for Wall. With the series now heading to Boston for Game 5, the former Kentucky Wildcat can further establish himself as a big time player if he can lead the Wizards to the first road victory of the matchup. More importantly, they will be one step closer to the Eastern Conference Finals, where the Cleveland Cavaliers are already waiting for their opponents.
