With Paul George off the table, the Boston Celtics are zoning in on free agent forward Gordon Hayward. Boston's interest in the Butler product has been well-documented over the last couple years, in part because of his connection with head coach Brad Stevens.

At the moment, it appears Hayward has narrowed his choices down to the Miami Heat, Boston, and the team he's played his entire career with, the Utah Jazz.

Utah finally made the jump this season, earning the 5th seed in the Western Conference and a berth in the second round after knocking off the Clippers. With a young core just beginning to mesh, it could be difficult for Hayward to walk away from what he helped build.

That won't stop Boston from making their pitch loud and clear, though.

First, Hayward was spotted with Stevens flying in for his visit on Saturday night:

This morning, the C's took Gordon to Fenway park to show him a video pitch on the scoreboard:

As noted above, Isaiah Thomas flew back to Boston to be there for Hayward's visit:

You'll probably see reports over the next few hours describing how well the meeting went, but that will be the case for the Heat and Jazz, too. Until Hayward actually signs a contract, his decision is still a mystery.
