Boston Celtics center Aron Baynes has been listed as questionable against the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

Aron Baynes is upgraded to questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Rockets. Based on his progression, looks like he’ll either play in that one or Tuesday in Oakland against the Warriors.

The Celtics' backup center has been sidelined since Feb. 3 due to a bruised left foot, and depending on how he feels before the game, he may be able to make his return against the Rockets. If Baynes does play, it's highly likely for Boston head coach Brad Stevens to put him on a minutes restriction for extra precautionary measures.

Baynes has only been able to play in 34 games for the Celtics this season, averaging 5.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 14.9 minutes. Still, he has been a reliable player for Boston, especially on the defensive end.

The Celtics have lost four of their last five games since the All-Star break, something that they would like to change in the final six weeks of the season.

Boston has been dubbed as the favorites to come out of the East before the season began, but inconsistencies have plagued them all year, and they can't seem to get any type of momentum going. They are currently the fifth team in the conference with a 38-25 record, and losing homecourt advantage in the first round could prove to be a major problem for the Celtics heading into the playoffs, as they have a losing record on the road this season (14-16).
