Brad Stevens has been praised the last few years as one of the brightest young minds in the NBA. Now that can be changed to one of the bright minds in the NBA, period. He has proven time and time again why he is one of the best coaches in the NBA. But for Stevens, he isn't comfortable with the praise he has received in the last few weeks and has even called it uncomfortable.

It isn't just people outside the organization that are singing his praises, it's also guys inside the organization. Before the series started against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Al Horford praised what he has been able to do with the young guys.

“I think a lot of our guys have been thrown into the fire. I think it’s been designed that way so guys can just develop and learn as they go,” Horford said via NBC Sports. “But I think that one of the things that helps them is the way that coach helps them prepare and the way that he teaches them the game.”

Coming into this playoffs with Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving both out, most people counted the Celtics out. Stevens knows how to push the right buttons, and when to push them and that has led them to this point. He has also been able to create perfect defensive gameplans against each of the first two teams. Against the Philadelphia 76ers how he was able to neutralize Ben Simmons, completely changed the series.
