Enes Kanter, who has been known to stir things up on and off the court with his pugnacious flights of fancy, was a big fan of the kerfuffle that occurred during Team USA’s battle against Team Greece in Saturday’s FIBA World Cup matchup, which involved one of his Celtics teammates.

Kanter Tweeted about that little tiff that took place between reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and rising star Jaylen Brown after a hard foul on Harrison Barnes near the end of the game seemed like something of a cheap shot.

No matter the context, Enes the Menace seemed pretty into the whole ordeal:

Certainly a provocateur, Kanter has been involved with multiple skirmishes on the court over the course of his 8-year career with the Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks and, most recently, Portland Trail Blazers.

Over the course of the past few years, Kanter has also been an outspoken critic of his home nation and its authoritarian leader Recep Erdogan. Kanter and former NBA player Hedo Turkoglu have had a war of words over Kanter’s statements about the current Turkish regime in the media.

In the case of today’s FIBA spat, Kanter seems to be his usual fisticuffs-enthused self, seeming to only sow the seeds of chaos in an NBA landscape that seems defined by chaotic events on a daily basis.

If the NBA offseason – as well as the early goings of FIBA play – are any indication, Kanter will thoroughly enjoy what is sure to be a wild 2019-20 season with his new Boston Celtics teammate Jaylen Brown.
