After seeing the thousands of well wishes Gordon Hayward received since suffering a gruesome injury against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, Gordon Scott Hayward posted a message of his own to thank everyone who offered prayers for his son.

He took to his Twitter account recently to let everyone know that he appreciates all the words of encouragement given to the Boston Celtics forward. He also used the hashtag #Godisgoodallthetime to make it known that he has a lot of faith that there is a better plan for his son, and that he can bounce back from this stronger than ever.

Only less than six minutes into his debut for the C's, Hayward fell awkwardly after trying being on the receiving end of a lob pass. He was immediately seen grimacing in pain, and his foot was even captured during the broadcast not aligned anymore. Players on the court were left stunned with what they saw, and offered prayers as well for him.

The All-Star forward was initially diagnosed with a dislocated ankle and fractured tibia. He expected to miss the entire season following surgery.
