The Boston Celtics failed to secure a win on Tuesday night as they suffered a 98-95 loss against the Miami Heat in the FTX Arena. The fact that Boston was missing no less than three of their starters due to injury in that one obviously played a key role in the defeat. The good news for the Celtics is that Jaylen Brown and Al Horford are now back on the mend.

Jaylen Brown, Al Horford injury status vs. Knicks

The Celtics get to host the New York Knicks on Thursday, and Boston fans will be glad to know that Brown, Horford, and even Malcolm Brogdon have all been removed from the injury list, reports beat reporter Sean Grande. This means that the trio should all be available against New York as the Celtics look to get back to winning ways following back-to-back losses against the Heat and the Orlando Magic.

Brown got the night off on Tuesday, which was the second game of a back-to-back set. The Celtics are continuing to manage his left adductor injury which forced him to watch from the sidelines against the Heat. The same was the case for Horford, who was ruled out of the matchup because of lower back stiffness. Brogdon, on the other hand, was unavailable due to personal reasons.

Unfortunately for Boston, they will still be without reigning Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart, who is expected to miss another week or two with a right ankle sprain. Boston has yet to provide a firm timetable for Smart's return to action, but he should be back in the mix sooner rather than later.
